Up for sale is a cut crystal pull, tiger stripped mahogany antique slant desk from the post civil war era dating about 1880s. This desk is a labor of love, due to the fact it is so old and has had a very useful life. I replaced the right back leg and reglued the edges of the desk veneer. The time I spent on the desk, over rides the value, but the lovely piece is now up for a new life for an owner who can appreciate it.

This desk is 17” deep, 34” wide and 40” high. With the desk pulled out, it measures 31” deep. This desk has great utility use. All joints have been reglued and the drawers now move back and forth squarely.

If you love the well maintained antique look, this desk is for you. It has lots of history to tell. The 1880s cut crystal pulls alone are worth a nice price, due to the fact the desk deserves the high end restoration touch of real hardware of it's time.
